The Cross-reference Instances section of the Data Manager screen shows the

cross-reference

records for the record that is selected in the

Instances for...

list. The

cross-reference

records are the source system records that have been combined to form the record in the top list. The buttons on the right hand side of this section allow you to perform certain actions for the

cross-reference

records displayed in the section.

Cross-reference records that are created by manual edits can be removed from the base object by selecting that

cross-reference

record and clicking the Unmerge button. In this case, Informatica MDM Hub simply deletes the

cross-reference

record. This is the only situation in which Informatica MDM Hub deletes any data.

The pending cross-references are added into the existing

cross-reference

table, flagged as PENDING, and displayed in a different color. Since all records have a base object record associated with them, even PENDING cross-reference records, the Data Manager displays all PENDING records.

The Reload button re-executes the same query as the one configured in the Setup Merge button.
