Creating a Node with a One-to-One Relationship

Creating a Node with a One-to-One Relationship

Create a child lookup node with a one-to-one relationship when the parent node contains one child lookup node. You create an address child node with a one-to-one relationship to a contact address node because one person can only have one address that is a home contact address.
  1. Click
    Business Entity
    Modeling
    , and then select
    Business Entities
    .
  2. Select the business entity.
  3. In the tree view panel, select
    One to One
    , and then click
    Create
    .
  4. In the properties panel, select the base object that contains the child node data.
For example, select the base object C_ADDRESS.
The base objects are created in the MDM Hub before you configure the business entity model.
  5. Select the constraint reference that defines the MDM Hub relationship between the base object of the parent node and the base object of the child node.
For example, select the constraint C_RL_PARTY_ADDRESS(ADDRESS_ID).C_ADDRESS(ROWID_OBJECT).
The constraints are created in the MDM Hub before you configure the business entity model.
  6. Enter a node name and a node display name. Optionally, enter a node description.
    For example, enter
    Address
for the node name and node label name.
  7. Click
    Apply
    .
The changes are saved but are not published to the MDM Hub.
