Set Up SalesForce SSO Authentication (WebSphere)

Set Up SalesForce SSO Authentication (WebSphere)

If you need to set up SalesForce SSO authentication for IDD, then WebSphere must be configured to trust the SalesForce server. You must retrieve the signer certificates from the SalesForce host you are trying to connect to and add them to the WebSphere trust store, using the following procedure:
  1. Open WebSphere Administration Console and login.
  2. Expand
    Security
    and then click
    SSL certificate and key management
    Manage endpoint security configurations
    .
  3. Expand
    Outbound
    and click
    HTTP
    .
  4. Choose
    SSL keystores
    from the dropdown list.
  5. Click
    NodeDefaultTrustStore
    Signer certificates
    .
  6. Click
    Retrieve from port
    .
  7. Enter the following values in the
    Host
    ,
    Port
    and
    Alias
    fields:
    • Host:
      www.salesforce.com
    • Port:
      443
    • Alias:
      www.salesforce.com
  8. Click
    Retrieve signer information
    .
    The certificate's data is displayed.
  9. Click
    Apply
    .
  10. Repeat Steps 6 to 9 for the following hosts:
    • na10-api.salesforce.com
    • c.na10.visual.force.com
  11. Click
    Save
    .
  12. Restart the Websphere server.
