Fetching Many Hops With New Limits

The limits are always applied.
In this case, the user can modify the limits before fetching many hops. Users can set the limits once and use fetch over and over again without modifying the limits every time.
To fetch many hops with new limits:
  1. Highlight one or more entities of interest.
  2. Right-click on the entity to display the context menu, and choose
    Fetch Many Hops
    . Alternatively, go to the HM Tool bar and click the
    Fetch Many Hops
    .
    The Fetch Many Hops dialog box, which allows you to set limits, is displayed.
  3. You can modify any of the following fetch criteria:
    Fetch Criteria
    Description
    Maximum relationships per entity
    Maximum number of relationships to fetch from the starting entities.
    Maximum relationships levels
    Maximum number of relationship levels to fetch per entity
    Maximum total number of relationships
    Maximum total number of relationships to fetch for the whole graph.
  4. Move the slider to increase or decrease values as desired, then click
    OK
    :
    Hierarchy Manager returns relationships based on the criteria you just set.
