Editing a Relationship

Editing a Relationship

This section describes how to edit relationships and how to launch the dialog. After you launch the dialog, the rest of the steps are the same for entities and relationships.
You can edit entities and relationships in either Graphic View or Text View.
To edit an entity or relationship:
  1. Highlight an entity or relationship.
  2. Right-click to display the context menu, then choose
    Edit
. Alternatively, in the Text View you can also click the
    Edit
    button.
The Entity Record Editor or Relationship Record Editor is displayed, as applicable.
You cannot change the entity type when editing entities.
  3. Edit the attributes.
If any of the fields for this type of entity are trust-enabled, the trust setting button is activated. If you have already used the Data Manager record editor, this will look familiar to you.
  4. If necessary, click
    Set Override Trust Settings
for any trusted criteria you are editing.
  5. To save your changes, click
    OK
    .
