Setting Properties in the siperian-client.properties File

Setting Properties in the siperian-client.properties File

Set the ORS ID and the InitialContext parameters, based on the application server that you use.
  1. At a command prompt, navigate to the following directory:
    <MDM installation directory>/app/tsr
    /config
  2. Open the
    siperian-client.properties
    file in an editor.
  3. Set the value of the
    siperian-client.orsId
    property to the ORS ID.
    In the Hub Console, navigate to
    Configuration
    Databases
    for the ORS ID.
  4. Search and uncomment all the properties related to the application server that you use. If required, provide the property values. Ensure that you comment all the properties related to other application servers.
    Comment out the following lines:
    # for protocol=ejb, with JBoss # java.naming.factory.initial=org.jboss.naming.remote.client.InitialContextFactory java.naming.factory.url.pkgs=org.jboss.ejb.client.naming java.naming.provider.url=jnp://127.0.0.1:4447 org.jboss.ejb.client.scoped.context=true jboss.naming.client.ejb.context=true
  5. Set the application server properties as instructed in the file comments.
  6. Save the file.
