Improvements in Address Verification and Multilanguage Support for Taiwan Addresses (5.11.0)

Informatica Address Verification

introduces the following features and enhancements for Taiwan:

Improved Validation of Taiwan Post Codes: You can validate three-digit and five-digit post codes.
Improved City and District Name Verification: Address Verification delivers the following improvements for Taiwan:

Address Verification recognizes current city and district names.

Address Verification recognizes 台北市 as a postally-valid synonym for 臺北市 (Taipei) in the Chinese language. When you enter an address with 台北市 as the city name,
Address Verification
returns the official name 臺北市 by default.

To configure
Address Verification
to preserve the synonym in the output address, set the
PreferredScript
attribute to DATABASE and set the
AliasLocality
attribute to
PRESERVE
.

Multilanguage Support for Taiwan Addresses: You can configure
Address Verification
to return a Taiwan address in the Chinese language or the English language.

To return all address information in Chinese, set the
PreferredLanguage
attribute to DATABASE. To return all address information in English, set the
PreferredLanguage
attribute to ENGLISH.; The default value is DATABASE.
