Province ISO Codes

Province ISO Codes

You can receive the province ISO code in batch, interactive, and fast completion results. The province ISO code is the first three characters of the ISO 3166-2 code of the country. To return the province code, set the
Type
attribute of the Province element to ISO. Address Verification returns the province ISO code in the Item 1 field of the element.

Address Verification returns the province ISO code in the Item 2 field of the Province element in a United Kingdom address.

Within the Royal Mail Database, province ISO codes are available for the Administrative Province. Therefore, Address Verification delivers the province ISO code in the Province_2 field.
