The DualAddressPriority Attribute

The DualAddressPriority Attribute

Dual addresses are addresses that contain both street address data and delivery service address data. You can configure the
DualAddressPriority
attribute of the
Result
element to specify which address type you want Informatica Address Verification to validate an input address against if the address contains both types of address data.
You can set the
DualAddressPriority
attribute to DELIVERY_SERVICE if you want Address Verification to validate the delivery service part of the input address. If you set
DualAddressPriority
to STREET, Address Verification validates the street address part of the input address.
The default value for
DualAddressPriority
is POSTAL_ADMIN, which denotes that Address Verification validates addresses based on the postal department's preference for the address type. When you validate addresses in the certified mode, set
DualAddressPriority
to POSTAL_ADMIN.
