Restrict Uploads to Inbound Directory

When selected, uploads are restricted to the inbound directory and any sub-directories under it. Web Users will not be able to upload files to any directory other than inbound. This option should not be selected if Web Users need to upload files in other locations, or if inbound and outbound folders were not created for Web Users based on the settings of the

Data tab

in global settings.

This option is available only on

Managed File Transfer

versions earlier than 3.0.0. It is recommended to use virtual folders to control Web User file and folder access.
