Reset Admin User Password

Reset Admin User Password

The reset password function can be used if the password is authenticated against the
Managed File Transfer
database. Follow the instructions below to reset an Admin User password:
  1. Log in as an Admin User with the Security Officer role.
  2. From the main menu bar, select
    Users
    , and then click the Admin Users link.
  3. In the Admin Users page, click the icon next to the Admin User.
  4. Select the
    Reset Password
    option.
  5. Provide a new password.
  6. When complete, click the
    Reset
    button.
The passwords for the administrator and root accounts are encrypted and can only be stored in the
Managed File Transfer
database.
