Export Models to Metadata Files

To extract metadata from SAP PowerDesigner, you export models from SAP PowerDesigner to metadata files. Use the SAP PowerDesigner client tool to save the model to a .pdm file in XML format. Metadata Manager extracts SAP PowerDesigner models from the exported metadata files.
