Arranging Transformations

The Designer can arrange the transformations in a mapping. When you use this option to arrange the mapping, you can arrange the transformations in normal view, or as icons.

Arrange

The

Select Targets

dialog box appears showing all target definitions in the mapping.

Select Iconic to arrange the transformations as icons in the workspace.

Select T_ITEM_SUMMARY and click

The following mapping shows an iconic view of the transformations in the pipeline connected to the T_ITEM_SUMMARY target definition:

The mapping shows a source, source qualifier, Aggregator transformation, Lookup transformation, Expression transformation, and a target. The Aggregator transformation connects to the Lookup transformation, Expression transformation, and target. The Lookup and Expression transformations also connect to the target.
