Authentication Type | Authentication type for the connection. Select one of the following authentication types:

Application Server | Name of the server that hosts Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Provide the fully-qualified domain name for active directory and claims-based authentication. The fully-qualified domain name should be the same in the SSL certificate file. Use the URL of the CrmDiscoveryService Web service for passport authentication. Log in to Microsoft Dynamics online account and click Settings | Customizations . For example, if the URL for the CrmDiscoveryService Web service is https://disco.crm5.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc , enter disco.crm5.dynamics.com . Configure for active directory, claims-based, and passport authentication. |
Port | Port in which Microsoft Dynamics CRM is configured to listen. Default is 5555. If you use secure communication, the default is 443. Configure for active directory and claims-based authentication. |
Security Token Service | Microsoft Dynamics CRM security token service URL. For example, https://sts1.<company>.com. Configure for claims-based authentication. |
Use SSL/TLS | Use secure connection when Microsoft Dynamics CRM website is configured for secured communication. Configure for active directory and claims-based authentication. |
Domain | Domain to which the user belongs. You must provide the complete domain name. For example, msd.sampledomain.com. Configure for active directory and claims-based authentication. |
User Name | User ID registered with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Configure for active directory, claims-based, and passport authentication. |
Password | Password to authenticate the user. Configure for active directory, claims-based, and passport authentication. |
