Installing the Security Policy Files

PowerExchange for Microsoft Dynamics CRM requires Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) unlimited strength jurisdiction policy files to support 256 bit strength encryption.

Download Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files 8.

To download on AIX, see the IBM documentation.

To download on all other supported platforms, access the download page from the following website: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

For the client, extract the

local_policy.jar

and

US_export_policy.jar

from

UnlimitedJCEPolicyJDK8.zip

to the following location:

<PowerCenter Installation Directory>\clients\java\32bit\jre\lib\security

For the server, extract the files to the following location:

<PowerCenter Installation Directory>/java/jre/lib/security

On AIX, extract the files you downloaded.
