SERVICE_TIMEOUT Statement

SERVICE_TIMEOUT Statement

The SERVICE_TIMEOUT statement specifies the number of seconds that a PowerExchange Listener or Logger service waits to receive heartbeat data from the associated PowerExchange Listener or PowerExchange Logger before killing the service, shutting down, and issuing an error message.

Required. Service to which the heartbeat interval applies. ISYNC is the only valid option.
heartbeat_interval
Number of seconds that a PowerExchange Listener or Logger service waits to receive heartbeat data from the associated PowerExchange Listener or PowerExchange Logger before killing the service, shutting down, and issuing an error message. If you have the PowerCenter high availability option, the domain then restarts the service.
Enter a number from 1 through 60. Default is 30.
