DEFAULTCHAR Statement

The DEFAULTCHAR statement defines the character that PowerExchange uses to replace any character data in a nonrelational data source that is not valid.

Nonrelational

DEFAULTCHAR={“character”|*}

For the character variable, enter a single character enclosed in double quotation marks. Default is the asterisk (*) character.
