Job Status Messages for Netport Jobs

Job Status Messages for Netport Jobs

PowerExchange writes informational messages, including netport job status messages, to the PowerExchange message log file. You can also configure PWXPC to write informational messages to the PowerCenter session log. The session log then contains all of the PowerCenter and PowerExchange messages related to session processing.
PowerExchange writes the following message to the PowerExchange log file when a netport job begins:
PWX-00178: Process started: Jobname=
jobname
,Jobid=
jobid
,User=
user_ID
,
tablename_or_mapname
,
file_name
PowerExchange writes the following message to the PowerExchange log file when a netport job ends:
PWX-00179: Process ended: Jobname=
jobname
,Jobid=
jobid
,User=
user_ID
,Highest Rc=
max_rc
PWXPC incorporates these and other PowerExchange messages into PowerCenter message PWXPC_10091 when writing messages to the session log.
To configure PWXPC to include PowerExchange informational messages in the PowerCenter session log, configure one of the following connection attributes in PowerCenter:
  • Select the
    Retrieve PWX Log Entries
connection attribute. (PWXPC application connection types only)
  • Specify the RETLOGINFOMSG=Y option in the
    PWX Override
connection attribute. (All PWXPC connection types)
