DTLINFOX Utility Parameters

DTLINFOX Utility Parameters

The DTLINFOX utility uses the following parameters as shown in the syntax:
LIBRARY=
library
The library or directory name that contains the programs you want to include in the report. Valid values are:
  • For IBM i, a library name. the default is the library or directory from which DTLBASE was loaded.
  • For Linux or UNIX, a directory name the default is the library or directory from which DTLBASE was loaded.
  • For Windows, a directory name the default is the library or directory from which DTLBASE was loaded.
  • For z/OS, the STEPLIB PDS name. the default is the first library in the STEPLIB concatenation. If this library is not a PowerExchange library, the report will be empty.
If you do not specify a library, the system applies the current path, as the default.
LOCATION=
location
Either the value of LOCAL or the name of a NODE statement in your DBMOVER configuration file for the remote machine where the PowerExchange Listener runs.
MASK=
mask
Optional. A program name or a mask name with a trailing asterisk to filter the report program files for which information is reported. If you do not specify a value, the utility reports information about all program files in the specified library or directory.
OUTPUT_FILE=
output_file
The fully qualified path where the report will be written. If you do not specify OUTPUT_FILE, the report is written to the current directory.
PWD=
password
The password for the user ID for the PowerExchange Listener on the remote machine.
EPWD=
password
An encrypted password that PowerExchange uses to connect to the PowerExchange Listener on the remote machine.
UID=
user_id
User ID for the PowerExchange Listener the remote machine.
A UID value with either a EPWD or PWD value are required in the following cases:
  • The LOCATION parameter points to a remote machine.
  • The PowerExchange Listener on the remote machine runs with the recommended security level of 2, as set in the SECURITY statement in the DBMOVER configuration file, which is the recommended setting.
Informatica recommends that EPWD is used instead of PWD.
