In the PowerExchange Navigator, you previously added some capture registrations as inactive but subsequently decided not to activate and use them. You also changed the status of some active registrations to History because the registered tables are no longer being used for change data capture.
You want to perform the following tasks:
Delete the Inactive registrations that were never used.
Set filters to process registrations with statuses H and I.
Set filters to process only registrations that have not changed since 2021/12/31.
Set filters to process registrations for Db2 for i databases.
Set filters to process registrations for the database instance I5V7R2.
Perform a validate run to check which registrations are to be processed.
Get a multi-line report of the registrations to be deleted.
If the output report is correct, run the command again with GLOBAL_VALIDATE=N to delete the registrations.
You want to run PWXUCREG on a Windows client machine, pass the name of the command set file in argument 1, and pipe the stdout report to a file on Windows while suppressing logging to detail.log.
Use the following syntax:
i:\pwxucreg.exe c:\MyPwxucregCommands\DeleteInactive.ini >
c:\MyPwxucregCommands\outputs\DeleteInactive.txt
The DeleteInactive.ini file has the following contents:
SET_CONTROL_VALUE
GLOBAL_REGISTRATION_LOCATION=MyZosNode,
GLOBAL_USER=MyUser,GLOBAL_EPWD=MyEncrypedPwd,
GLOBAL_VALIDATE=Y,
DISPLAY_REGISTRATION_BEFORE_COMMAND=Y,
