Open a personal metadata profile.

On the

Personal Metadata

tab in the

Resource Explorer

, double-click a table to open it.

To get data for specific columns, select these columns in the

Table

window.

In the

DB Type

list, click the data source type. Then, enter any information that is associated with the data source type.

The

Fetch

list is disabled. For a personal metadata profile, the default option is

Data

.

Optionally, edit the SQL SELECT or DTLDESCRIBE statement in the

SQL Statement

box.

If you selected the

CAPX

or

CAPXRT

access method, enter an application name in the

Application

box.

If you selected the

access method, click

Advanced

to enter override values for the row test. Then, in the

Advanced Parameters

dialog box, enter any of the available override values for the source type. These values override certain values in PowerExchange definitions or configuration files, such as data maps or the DBMOVER configuration file.

In the

Get

Rows

field, enter the number of rows that you want the row test to fetch. You can display up to 99999 rows of data at a time. By default, PowerExchange displays ten rows of data.

list, you can have the row test skip a specific number of initial rows before displaying data. To skip rows, specify a number from 1 to 99999 in the
