After you run a PowerExchange job that provides a return code, the system logs that return code to an output file or prints it to a device. You can receive standard return codes, common return codes, or component specific return codes.

Some return codes provided by PowerExchange are created by the z/OS operating system or another IBM product. For explanations of these return codes, see the appropriate IBM z/OS, IMS, VSAM, or DB2 documentation.
