PowerExchange logs this warning message on z/OS when statistics are being gathered. The timeout period elapsed without the caller being able to lock the statistics memory blocks for a task.
  • holder_key_number
     indicates the process that has held the lock for an excessive amount of time.
  • caller_key_number
     indicates the process that is attempting to the lock the memory blocks for the task.
Processing continues.
If the caller is reporting statistics, it skips the problem task and continues to the next task.
If the caller is the PowerExchange Listener and it is performing a termination step, it continues and frees the memory without a lock.
Look for messages that indicate a failure in another part of the system. Verify that alternate logging was specified.
