The user-defined instance identifier that was entered for a Microsoft SQL Server source is not unique. It is already used for the specified SQL Server database and server.
You can enter an instance identifier at any of the following locations:
The
Instance
field in the
Add Registration Group
dialog box of the PowerExchange Navigator
The INSTANCE parameter of the DTLUCBRG utility
The NEW_DBID parameter in the REG_COPY statement of the DTLURDMO utility
Processing ends.
Enter a unique instance identifier for the current SQL Server database and server combination, or allow PowerExchange to generate a unique instance identifier by not specifying the instance identifier.
