Running a Column Profile

Running a Column Profile

Run a column profile on a mapping specification source or target to analyze the structure and quality of the data.
  1. Choose a source or target column to run a column profile on.
    • To choose a source column, select a column on the
      Sources
       panel.
    • To choose a target column, select a column from the
      Transformations and Target Columns
       panel.
  2. Click the
    Profile Summary
     tab.
    The Analyst tool displays the column profile results.
  3. Optionally, click the
    Refresh
     icon to run the column profile again.
