Utilities for Data Export

You can use the export utility or the IBM DB2 HPU utility to export data. Configure the utility that you want to use for the export based on the installed utilities and the platform that hosts the IBM DB2 database.

You can use the following utilities to export data:

Export Utility: By default, if you configure Data Archive to use IBM DB2 native utilities, Data Archive uses the IBM DB2 export utility to export data from the source. You can use the export utility for all platforms.
High Performance Unload Utility (IBM DB2 HPU): For IBM DB2 on Linux, UNIX, or Windows, you can use the IBM DB2 HPU utility to export data from the source.
