Step 5. Add the URL to the External Application Code

Step 5. Add the URL to the External Application Code

Add the URL to the external application code to call
GetJobStatus.jsp
. Optionally, use the job status to handle an event in the external application.
The output of
GetJobStatus.jsp
shows the current status of the Update Retention Policy job. It provides the same status that you see if you monitor the job status in Data Archive. The output shows one of the following values:
  • C. Completed
  • R. Running
  • T. Terminated
The status is not refreshed automatically. Call
GetJobStatus.jsp
to get the updated status.
