Storage Classification Configuration

Storage Classification Configuration

Before you create a smart partitioning project, configure a storage classification.
You can configure the following properties for a storage classification:
Name
The name of the storage classification.
Default
Determines if the selected storage classification is the default classification when you create a new segmentation policy.
Hybrid Columnar Compression Supported
Enables the Oracle Hybrid Columnar Compression feature for the storage classification. To use Oracle Hybrid Columnar Compression, you must enable this property as well as the advanced_compression parameter in the
Manage Segmentation Setup
page.
Mount Point
Directory location of the mount point.
Available Space (GB)
Amount of space available at the mount point.
