Review the SQL conversion configuration files that are generated after assessing a
PowerCenter repository.
The SQL conversion configuration files retrieve SQL details from the assessment of PowerCenter
repositories. You can specify the converted SQL queries for the target endpoint and use
the files to generate converted SQL queries. For example, to repoint an Oracle query to
a Snowflake query, specify the converted SQL query for Snowflake in the configuration
files and use the files to create a conversion properties configuration. Use the
conversion properties configuration to create a parameter file conversion task, and then
run the task to generate the converted queries.
You can find the SQL conversion configuration files in the SqlQueries folder of the
downloaded assessment ZIP file. The SqlQueries folder contains the following types of
files:
MasterSql
This file contains a list of folders in the repository that contain the SQL
queries. The folders are organized into separate ConvertSql files, with each
file containing the SQL details of 10 folders. The
Link
column contains direct links for easy access to the respective ConvertSql
files.
ConvertSql<file_number>
This file contains the existing SQL queries in the folders. To convert an SQL
query, specify the converted query in the
