Start Identity Resolution

Start
Identity Resolution

After you configure the environment variables, you can start the
Identity Resolution
Server.
  1. Start the
    Identity Resolution
    servers by performing one of the following tasks:
    • On Windows: On a command line, run the
      idsup.bat
      file from the
      <Identity Resolution Installation Directory>\bin
      directory.
    • On Windows: From the Windows Start menu, click
      Programs
      Informatica
      Identity Resolution [Version]
      Informatica Identity Resolution
      Informatica Identity Resolution Server - start
      .
    • On UNIX: On a shell command line, run the
      idsup
      command from the
      <Identity Resolution Installation Directory>/bin
      directory.
  2. Start the
    Identity Resolution
    Console Client (Admin Mode) by performing any of the following tasks:
    • On Windows and UNIX: Run the
      idsconc -a
      command.
    • On Windows: From the Windows Start menu, click
      Programs
      Informatica
      Identity Resolution [Version]
      Informatica Identity Resolution
      Informatica Identity Resolution Console Client (Admin Mode)
      .
  3. Enter the user name that you created in the database, password for the user, and the database service name.
    A successful authentication of the user credentials launches the
    Identity Resolution
    Console Client.
