Configuring Date and Time Formats

Configuring Date and Time Formats

When you create a Data Director application, you can configure custom date and time formats. The default date and time formats are yyyy-MM-dd and yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.
  1. Click
    Configuration
    Application Editor
    , and then select the application.
  2. In the tree view panel, click the
    Default Display Formats
    node.
  3. In the
    Default Display Formats
    panel, enter custom formats in the
    Date Format
    and
    Datetime Format
    fields.
  4. Click
    Apply
    .
    The date and time formats are saved to the temporary workspace.
  5. Publish the changes to the MDM Hub.
    1. Click
      Publish
      .
      A confirmation dialog box appears that prompts you to publish or review the changes.
    2. Review the changes or publish without a review.
      • To publish without a review, click
        Publish
        .
      • To publish after a review, click
        Review Changes
        and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
After you configure the date and time formats on the
Applications
page, use the
Modeling
page to set the display format for business entity fields. You set the display format as
Date
or
Datetime
for fields that display a date.
