Custom User Interface Components

You can add custom components to layouts, such as charts and social media feeds. You can configure custom components that you need in the Component Editor. After you configure the custom components, the components appear in the Layout Designer.
The following table describes the custom components that can appear in the Layout Designer when designing
Home
pages, additional pages, or record views:
Custom Component
Description
External Links
Displays custom external resources such as a Twitter feed and web page.
Make sure that the component names that you configure are not the same as any business entity name. For example, if you have a Person business entity in your environment, do not name any custom component Person.
