Edit Multiple Records

Edit Multiple Records

You can perform a bulk edit to replace one value in a certain field with another value across multiple records. Use the
Find and Replace
option on the search screen to perform a bulk edit.
For example, a hospital reports that multiple patient records include the wrong gender identity. You want to confirm which records are affected and correct the errors.
You find the affected records and determine the values to replace. After you verify the change, you inform the hospital that you updated the records.
After users update records in Data Director, the change triggers a review workflow process.
Your MDM administrator must enable permissions for your user role to perform bulk edit operations.
