The rate card lists the current IPU rate for each meter and tier.
The sample rate cards in this section
might not reflect the current IPU rates for your organization.
Meters with tiered rates
Meters with tiers display the IPU rate per tier. The following image shows a sample
rate card with an IPU rate per tier for the Data Access Management - Queries
meter:
In this example, the IPU rate for the Data Access Management - Queries meter is
calculated in the following way:
You can run up to 35,000 queries
at no cost.
Queries 35,001 through 400,000
cost 0.7 IPUs per query.
Queries in excess of 400,000 cost
0.5 IPUs per query.
For example, if you run 450,000 queries in a billing period, you can calculate the
total IPUs using the following equation:
When the next billing period begins, the query count resets to zero queries.
Meters with flat rates
Meters without tiers display a flat IPU rate. The following image shows a sample rate
card with an IPU rate for the Additional Production Organizations meter:
Because the Additional Production Organizations meter doesn’t have tiers, each
additional production organization has a flat rate of 6 IPUs per billing period.
