Serverless setup using AWS PrivateLink for service network endpoints

A serverless runtime environment using AWS PrivateLink for service network endpoints uses a resource share to connect to data sources through your AWS account. Then, it runs tasks using the infrastructure in Informatica's AWS account.
Starting in the October 2025 release, serverless runtime environments in new
Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
organizations use AWS PrivateLink. Existing organizations can continue to create serverless runtime environments using a cross-account elastic network interface. AWS continues to support cross-account elastic network interfaces but they're no longer on AWS's roadmap, so Informatica recommends all organizations transition to AWS PrivateLink going forward.
To create a serverless runtime environment using AWS PrivateLink for service network endpoints, complete the following tasks:
  1. Set up your AWS environment to create and configure the required AWS resources
  2. In
    Administrator
, create a serverless runtime environment to deploy it to AWS.
A serverless runtime environment using AWS PrivateLink for service network endpoints can't run mappings in advanced mode.
