Enable the JSON File

Enable the JSON File

In the Create Cluster task environment variables, specify two properties to enable the JSON file to pass Databricks parameters:
Property
Description
userJson
This property tells the Data Integration Service whether or not the task uses a JSON file to pass parameters.
Choose from the following values:
  • True. Enables parameter input from a JSON file. When you choose True, you must also provide the path to the JSON file using the pathToFile property.
  • False. Enables parameter input from the Developer tool properties. When you choose false, you must configure all cluster configuration properties in the Developer tool properties. See Create Cluster Task Properties.
Default is false.
pathToFile
String. The file path to the JSON file, including the file name. Required if userJson is true.
You can parameterize either property.
