Step 2. Define Audit Conditions

An audit condition compares the results of multiple rules or the result of a rule and constant values. Each condition returns a value of either Passed or Failed.

You must define at least one rule before you can define a condition.

In the mapping audit properties, select the

Conditions

tab.

Select the

New (Insert)

icon.

The following image shows the icon: Screenshot of the Audit properties in the Developer tool. The New (insert) icon on the Conditions tab is highlighted with a red circle.

A condition appears with default values.

Configure the following properties:

Property	Description
Name	Required. Name of the condition.
Description	Optional. Description of the condition.
Expression	Required. Conditional expression that uses an audit rule and returns a boolean value. Use transformation language to configure the expression. The expression is not case-sensitive.
