Import and Export Endpoints Rules and Guidelines

Consider the following rules and guidelines when you import and export endpoints:
  • Managed File Transfer endpoints are imported in disabled status. The endpoint information is stored in the B2B Data Exchange repository and in the B2B Managed File Transfer repository. If you import or export objects that include B2B Managed File Transfer endpoints, perform the export operation in both the B2B Data Exchange and B2B Managed File Transfer administrative consoles. When you import the endpoints, first import the objects to B2B Managed File Transfer and then to B2B Data Exchange.
  • Non-Managed File Transfer endpoints are imported as-is, depending upon each endpoint status.
  • After you import JMS endpoints from version 9.1 or earlier, you must re-enter the password for each endpoint to enable
    B2B Data Exchange
to securely connect to the JMS queue.
