Basic Tab

Basic Tab

The Basic tab contains the following fields:
Name
A user-defined name which identifies the OpenPGP Key Ring resource. This name should be descriptive enough so users can quickly identify this OpenPGP Key Ring resource when prompted to choose from a list (for example, "OpenPGP Key Rings"). The name cannot exceed 50 characters.
Description
A short paragraph that describes the OpenPGP Key Ring resource. The description is optional.
Public Key Ring
The location of the key ring which contains the public keys for OpenPGP. You can browse for the key ring on the file system by clicking the button next to the field. OpenPGP keys can be managed in
Managed File Transfer
'sOpenPGP Key Manager page.
A default key ring is provided in
Managed File Transfer
for holding OpenPGP public keys. The location of this key ring is
[installdirectory]/userdata/keys/pgp/pubring.pkr
where [installdirectory] is the installation directory of the
Managed File Transfer
product.
Secret Key Ring
The location of the key ring which contains the secret (private) keys for OpenPGP. You can browse for the key ring on the file system by clicking the button next to the field. OpenPGP keys can be managed in
Managed File Transfer
'sOpenPGP Key Manager page.
A default key ring is provided in
Managed File Transfer
for holding OpenPGP secret keys. The location of this key ring is
[installdirectory]/userdata/keys/pgp/secring.skr
where [installdirectory] is the installation directory of the
Managed File Transfer
product.
