Set File Permissions

Set File Permissions

The Set File Permissions element specifies whether a file can be read, written, or modified.
Field
Definition
Basic Tab
Label
Specify a label for this action.
File
Specify the path and name of a single file of which to change permissions.
Directory
Specify the path and name of a single directory of which to change permissions. All files and sub directories will also be affected.
Input Files Variable
Specify the name of a variable of type Remote File List which contains the files of which to change permissions from the remote server. For example, ${variableName}.
Permissions
Specify the permissions to apply to the files and/or directories. The syntax is similar to the UNIX file permission setting which consists of three bits. Each bit represents a group and the value of the bit (0-7) represents the permission level. For example, the value of 7 means RWX (read/write/execute) permissions. So 777 means RWX for all groups (owner, group, and all users).
