Save any changes to the Project by clicking the

Save

button.

Exit the Project Designer by clicking the

Exit

button. You will be prompted to save any changes you made to the Project.

Check the syntax of the Project by clicking the  

Validate

button.

Execute the Project interactively by clicking the  

Execute Project

button.

Debug the project by clicking the

Debug

button. This is helpful for finding errors in a Project or to begin executing at a particular task in the Project.

Show the XML definition of the Project by clicking the  

Show XML

button. The Project is automatically saved when the XML is displayed. It is not recommended to change the XML definition without specific instructions from Informatica.
