Step 1. Create a Visual Basic Project with a Single Class

Launch Visual Basic and click File > New Project.

In the dialog box that appears, select ActiveX DLL as the project type and click OK.

Visual Basic creates a new project named Project1
.

If the Project window does not display, type Ctrl+R, or click View > Project Explorer.

If the Properties window does not display, press F4, or click View > Properties.

In the Project Explorer window for the new project, right-click the project and choose Project1 Properties from the menu that appears.

Enter the name of the new project.

In the Project window, select Project1
and change the name in the Properties window to COM_VB_BankSoft
.
