Step 4. Fill Out the Method Stub with an Implementation

In the BankSoft example, return to the Class View tab of the Workspace window and expand the COM_VC_BankSoft classes item.

Expand the CBSoftFin item.

Expand the IBSoftFin item under the above item.

Right-click the FV item and choose Go to Definition.

Position the cursor in the edit window on the line after the TODO comment and add the following code:

Since you refer to the pow function, you have to add the following preprocessor statement after all other include statements at the beginning of the file:

#include <math.h>

The final step is to build the DLL. When you build it, you register the COM procedure with the Windows registry.
