Running an Entire Workflow

Running an Entire Workflow

When you run an entire workflow, you can choose to run the workflow with the current configuration, or you can choose to override some options, such as the Integration Service or operating system profile.
  1. Open the folder that contains the workflow.
  2. From the Navigator, select the workflow that you want to start.
  3. Right-click the workflow in the Navigator and choose the way that you want to start the workflow.
    • Start Workflow. When you choose to start the workflow, the Integration Service runs the workflow with the configured options.
    • Start Advanced Workflow. When you choose to start the workflow with advanced options, you can configure the following advanced options:
      • Integration Service. Overrides the Integration Service configured for the workflow.
      • Operating System Profile. Overrides the operating system profile assigned to the folder.
      • Workflow Run Instances. Choose the workflow instances that you want to run. This option appears if the workflow is configured for concurrent execution.
The Integration Service runs the entire workflow.
You can also manually start a workflow from the Workflows menu or by right-clicking in the Workflow Designer workspace and choosing
    Start Workflow
    .
