DTLDESCRIBE metadata is not allowed for access method

A request for PowerExchange metadata came from an access method that does not support the DTLDESCRIBE request. The following access methods support the DTLDESCRIBE request:
  • CAPXRT
  • DB2
  • DB2UDB
  • DB2400C
  • IMSUNLD
  • MSSQL
  • MYSQL
  • NRDB2
  • ODBC
  • ORACLE
  • PGSQL
The request fails.
If you issued the request manually from the PowerExchange Navigator, make sure you are using an access method that supports the DTLDESCRIBE request. If the request came from a calling application, contact Informatica Global Customer Support.
