During registration of a Microsoft SQL Server CDC source, PowerExchange was unable to determine if the specified server was configured for replication. This error might occur because the server is not configured for replication or the user does not have sufficient authority to determine if the server is configured for replication.
Registration fails.
Review the prerequisites for change data capture in the Microsoft SQL Server documentation. After you ensure all prerequisites are met, try to register the source again.
