Configure the Web Browser

You can run the Administrator tool in the Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Safari web browser.
To use the Administrator tool, configure the following options in the browser:
Scripting and ActiveX
Enable the following controls on Microsoft Internet Explorer:
  • Active scripting
  • Allow programmatic clipboard access
  • Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
  • Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting

Trusted sites
If the Informatica domain runs on a network with Kerberos authentication, you must configure the browser to allow access to the Informatica web applications. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome, add the URL of the Informatica web application to the list of trusted sites. In Safari, add the certificate of the Informatica web application to the keychain. If you are using Chrome version 86.0.42x or later on Windows, you must also set the
AuthServerWhitelist
and
AuthNegotiateDelegateWhitelist
policies.
