JDBC Connection

JDBC Connection

You can use the JDBC connection type to create a source connection in a Hadoop plan.
You can use the JDBC connection type to create a connection to the following databases:
  • DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle
  • Sybase ASE
You must restrict data types that TDM does not support from the
Discover
Columns
page in a project. A workflow might fail if the plan contains unsupported data types that are not restricted in Test Data Manager.
