Run the installer in console mode

Run the installer in console mode

When you migrate from Informatica versions 10.4.x, you can change the node configuration to migrate the domain to a different machine or to a different domain configuration repository database.
When you run the installer in console mode, the words Quit and Back are reserved words. Don't use them as input text.
  1. Log in to the machine with a system user account.
  2. Clear the DISPLAY variable on the machine.
  3. Use the
    unset
    command to clear the following variables:
    INFA_HOME
    ,
    INFA_NODE_NAME
    , and
    INFA_DOMAINS_FILE
  4. Close all the other applications.
  5. On a shell command line, run the install.sh file.
    The installer displays the message to verify that the locale environment variables are set.
  6. Press
    2
    to migrate the domain.
  7. Read the copyright information and press
    Enter
    to continue.
    The
    Migration Prerequisites
    section displays the migration requirements.
  8. Verify that all requirements are met before you continue the installation and press
    Enter
    to continue.
    The
    Informatica services installation directory
    section appears.
