Enter the absolute path to the
CDI-PC domain
installation directory.
The directory names in the path can't contain spaces or the following special characters:

Default is the user home directory for the user that runs the installation.
Informatica recommends using alphanumeric characters in the installation directory path. If you use a special character such as á or €, unexpected results might occur at run time.

If you choose to back up the domain, you can save the file in the default location or a custom location.

This option is visible only if the on-premises environment has Hadoop distribution packages. For Informatica versions 10.5.2 and earlier, this option is visible by default. For more information about downloading the Hadoop packages, see

Copy the Hadoop packages to the server installer's source directory. Only then will the installer include the Hadoop binaries during the installation process.
